Whats going on in the Youth?

Chris Dickens joined the Fall Creek Baptist Church family in july of 2009 as our new Youth Pastor.  He and his wonderful wife Holly are excited to be working with our youth department.

After surrendering to God's calling back in 1994, he began preaching at every available opportunity.  In 1996, Chris felt the need to increase his knowledge of God's Word and enrolled in a distance study program from Faith Christian Bible College & Seminary.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies in 1999.

Chris & Holly have been working in youth ministry for a number of years.  Holly has taught Sunday School since she was 16 years old.  She has taught and directed VBS.  She has a deep love for teens.

Chris worked as the youth director for Friendship Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN from 1997 until the end of 1999.  During that time, he led the Wed. night Bible study for the youth group, helped plan special youth events, and helped teach VBS.

In 2003, Chris became the Youth Pastor at Community Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN.  There, he led the youth group, worked in VBS, helped teach both Sunday School and Training Union classes, and led the Children's Sermon during Sunday morning services.

Now, Chris & Holly bring their combined talents & love for youth to Fall Creek!  Together, they just seek to serve Christ & help direct our students into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
